Erik has 35 years of experience in financial services, including 20 years in corporate banking and the last 15 as a financial advisor to individuals and businesses. He holds a BA in economics from Northwestern University and an MBA in finance from Northwestern's JL Kellogg Graduate School of Management. He is also a CFP® certificate holder and an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®).
Erik lives in Glen Ellyn, Illinois with his wife and three children where is active in the village, having served on several village commissions, including the Plan Commission and chairing the Finance Commission. He also serves as a trustee on the board of the Science and Arts Academy, a K-12 private school for gifted students in Des Plaines, Illinois. He has coached youth sports and taught finance and business strategy at the undergraduate and graduate level.
